A ROBBERY syndicate headed by a pastor and founder of a church in Ado-Ekiti have been arrested by the police in Ekiti State.
The syndicate was said to specialise in stealing of cars, which the pastor (name withheld) allegedly sells. Three stolen cars have been recovered by the state Police Command.
According to the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP Operations), Mr. Ududo Adat, members of the syndicate were arrested following a tip-off by members of the public and confessions from the mechanic, who was contracted to repair the vehicles.
The cars recovered include a Mazda Pick-Up van with registration number Ekiti XD 493 ADK, a Honda Accord car marked Abuja FG 942 ABJ and a Mazda panel van bus with registration number Ekiti AG 68 YEE.
It may seem harmless to offer your network's access to outside users, but it's more than just letting people surf the Internet for free.
