True Life Story: Offer Naked Sacrifice Or No Husband – Pastor Tells Member

I am a female in my late 20′s. One day, a Pastor from a pentecostal church came to visit me at my house. This Pastor was accompanied by an elderly woman.
They found me at home with my friend of mine, who had come to visit me from Choma in Luapula, Zambia. After the introductions, the Pastor started encouraging us about going to church and believing in God always.
Later on, he asked to talk to me privately. During our private talk, he said I was still single because an evil curse has been place on me from my father’s family. He said the following Wednesday, both of us should pray and fast so as to unveil the way forward through God’s revelation.
After the fast on that day, we had prayers and later in the week, he asked me to see him. When I met him, he told me that in order for my curse to be broken, I needed to offer a sacrifice to God. He asked me what I valued most. I told him it was my salary.
I agreed to offer a sacrifice in form of money (salary). He told me that once I was ready with that money, I should contact him so that he could give me the guidelines on how the sacrifice was to be offered because sacrifices are not offered anyhow.
When I got the money, I sent a message to him. He asked me to go to his house where he gave me some scriptures and instructions. The instructions were that between 11:30pm and 12am, I should take off all my clothes and be uncloth (alone in my bedroom.
According to him, God does not delight in nakedness so he will give me what I ask for from Him, get the money and put it in my hands and sing some worship songs and later pray with the money in my hands and then take the money to church the following day.
I agreed to do this, but when I reached home I started feeling undecided of what to do. Something within me told me that no one in the Bible had ever given a sacrifice to God whilst uncloth. The whole thing became confusing and in the end, I just started crying because I was filled with fear and confusion.
I ended up not doing it. I told myself that I was not going to do something which I did not fully understand. The following day, the pastor asked me if I had done what I was told to do, I told him that I had not done so. He said I was too weak in faith by allowing myself to be succumbed to the devil.
I asked him if I could just pray with the sacrifice in one of the nights when we have an overnight services at church. He said no. He claimed that the sacrifice has to be prayed for alone in my bedroom. I started asking friends, but I got different views.

Nigerian Politicians Kill Dreams -Richard Branson(C.E.O Virgin Atlantic)

The rich international businessman, Richard Branson, has lambasted the crop of leaders we have in Nigeria for their high level greed which, according to him, is killing big brands wishing to do business with the government of the country, for the growth of Nigeria’s economy.

Below is the revelations by Mr. Richard Branson on his experience in Nigeria…

The chairman of Virgin Atlantic said: “…we have virgin’s ill-fated footsteps by setting up a new airline in Africa in conjunction with Nigerian government…the details of the doomed attempts to crack the Nigerian market in the 2000s is better imagined…we put …together a very good airline-the first airline in West Africa that was ever IOSA/IATA operational safety audit accredited but unfortunately it got tied down to the politics of the country…we led the airlines for 11 years…

“We fought daily battle against government agents who wanted to daily make fortune from us, politicians who saw the government 49% as a meal to seek for all kinds of favour…watchdogs (regulatory body) that didn’t know what to do and persistently asking for bribes at any point…Nigeria people are generally nice but the politicians are very insane…that may be irony because the people make up the politicians…

“But those politicians are selfish…we did make N3billion for the federal government of Nigeria during the joint venture…realising that the government didn’t bring nothing to thetable/partnership except dubious debts by the previous carrier, Nigeria Airways…The joint venture should have been the biggest African carrier by now if the partnership was allowed to grow, but the politicians KILLED it…Nigeria is a country we SHALL NEVER consider to doing business again..”

My Girlfriend Proposed To Me, Help!

photo

I met this girl last year September at a cousin’s wedding reception and we exchanged contacts.

We had a first date and I discovered that she is a banker and she discovered  to her disappointment that I am a school teacher. She said she likes my personality but doesn’t like my job.
Honestly, I have been looking for a better job but you know nigeria is now.
Somehow, we pulled along but no much intimacy as we only meet on weekends and maybe like once a month or so.

Anytime she comes around, she tells me stories of her colleagues, suitors etc, and of course every one of them has a car and is richer than myself. She pings and answers phone calls of people I suspect to be her toasters or so, she was just in control.
I just played cool. She never asked me for anything and I never asked her too.

In March, she lost her job, so she became more available at my place. Later, she started asking me to define our relationship, my plans for her and future, etc. But, somehow I discovered what I believe is the problem: Her elder bros she’s been staying with will be relocating to east by October when his rent expires.

My girlfriend say she cannot leave lagos, especially with the kind of family she’s from, she won’t be allowed to rent an apartment here especially as she’s got no job.

So, she wants me to marry her before then, she says if money is my problem, that she’ll support me with 350K from her savings. She even said her brother (who works in the oil rig) can help me get a better job since I studied Engineering, but, that will be after our marriage.

This came as a surprise to me because I thought she’s the madam here. Besides, I will want to marry when I’m ready and to mrs right. I know I like her very much, but, a friend of mine Jude says I should use my brain and not my heart.

Jude says she’s not employable again as she studied food Science tech and has been in the bank for 4 years and that she needs marriage to secure her life and future. He says she will  turned to a liability and that she doesn’t love me.
What do I do, what do I tell her ? Please Help!

The TEN Commandments For Nigeria

God has finally handed over to Goodluck Jonathan, some special commandments for Nigeria. The 10 commandments come to us from Goodluck 20:1-17. Here is the verse...

And God spoke all these words, saying:
“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of JUNTAS, and out of the house of BONDAGE.
I) You shall have no gods, godfather, syncopates, lobbyists before thy constituents.

II) You shall not take the name of thy CONSTITUTION in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who destroys Nigeria’s Nationhood.

III) Remember the INDEPENDENCE DAY, to keep it safe. October FIRST, you shall labor and do all your work, but this day is thy UNITY day.

IV) Honor your founding fathers and mothers, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

V) Honor only ONE constitution, one COURT, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who destroys Nigeria’s secularity.

VI) You who are chosen to lead shall declare your assets to the public.

VII) You shall not steal public fund, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who divert public money out of the Land.

VIII) You shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor and shall not torment thy political opponents.

IX) You shall not murder.

X) You shall not covet leadership; you shall not covet the COUNTRY, nor her oil; nor her treasury; nor her economic prosperity; you shall not covet your PARTY; nor anything that is your party’s."

I Did Not Foresee John Atta Mills Death – T.B Joshua

Prophet TB Joshua, the founder and general overseer of the Synagogue Church, Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, has expressed profound shock over the death of the late president of Ghana, Prof. John Atta Mills, who died on Monday.

Speaking with LEADERSHIP exclusively at his Ikotun Synagogue Church yesterday, Pastor Joshua pointed out that he was indeed very sad at the death of the Ghanaian president, saying he did not receive any revelation concerning the death, otherwise he would have intensified more prayers to avert his demise.

The cleric pointed out that the late Mills was like a spiritual son to him whom he cherished deeply. He was the one who even predicted Mills victory as the Ghanaian president and that prophecy came to pass, he stated.

“Mills was a very committed person in the things of God and also very dedicated. Each time he was in church , you could see the fervor and hunger and thirst for God written all over his countenance. He was a very dear son to me and I was his spiritual godfather.

His death is a great shock and blow to me personally,” said the cleric. “Of course, I knew he had been ill for sometime now and he had come for special prayers concerning his health thrice this year, and I and my other ministers had prayed fervently for him. I was so hopeful he would recover his health completely, but it is sad and only God knows best why he should die now.

“I know many persons will be saying how come my fervent prayers did not save his life. All I can answer such persons is, why did GOD allow Stephen in the New Testament Bible to be stoned to death. Why did God not save the life of Stephen, an innocent man, as he was being stoned, dying?

The answer is simply this: sometimes God allows things to happen for unknown reasons, and indeed reasons no man can explain, that is why God is Almighty Sovereign God; who indeed can question Him, who can challenge God?

“When we humanity eventually see God in the glorious city of Heaven, then, can we have answers to all our questions. For now, he can only get a 99 percent answer but never a 100 per cent answer.”

Pastor Joshua pointed out that the late Mills was a very humble and dedicated leader who had many great plans on how to revolutionise the economy of Ghana for greater heights.

He said his death was “indeed a great loss to humanity at large and especially to the Ghanaian citizenry”.

He disclosed that he had done so much concerted prayers for the late Mills’ health and, aside his prayers, he said, the late Mills had also had frequent visits to the United States hospitals – three times this year alone – and yet God still allowed him to die.”

Concerning the ailment that led to Mills’ death, he said the late president was suffering from throat cancer

The late president Mills had openly admitted that Prophet TB Joshua played a crucial role on his ascension to the presidency and even said so publicly in a thanksgiving service held at the Synagogue Church in March 2009.

According to the late Mills , the Prophet TB told him that the election would travel to the third round before he would be declared the winner, which came to pass. “It, therefore, came as no surprise, when the Synagogue Church of All Nations was the first church he visited in Nigeria, after the Electoral Commission had declared him winner of the 2008 election.”

One of the church members of the Synagogue Church who spoke to LEADERSHIP yesterday and gave his name simply as Bro Stephen said, “I cried when I learnt of the death of the Ghanaian president. You see, the man was a very wonderful, caring man who, when he did his thanksgiving in March 2009, did a lot of things for our church. Also, each time he visited Nigeria, he always came to our church and his visit was always felt in many ways.

“All of us members are sad over his death. Our Prophet TB Joshua is even sadder. But what can we do? God knows best, and I know God will comfort each and every one of us, especially his immediate family there in Ghana”.

ABDUSALLAM ABUBAKAR & STELLA ODUAH INDICTED IN N230B OIL SCAM

A former Head of State, General Abdusallam Abubakar [rtd] is now battling to escape possible trials after being indicted by the Report of House of Representatives Ad Hoc Committee on Fuel Subsidy just as a serving minister in President Goodluck’s Jonathan administration, Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah is under pressure to resign from the cabinet following the indictment of her oil firm by the committee.

“Daily Post” gathered from competent sources that Oduah who is the Federal Minister for Aviation is a major shareholder of one of the indicted oil companies, Sea Petroleum and Gas Company Limited [SPG] which jointly collected a whooping sum of N230,184 billion on Premium Motor Spirit [PMS] volume of 3,262,960225, liters but which was not supplied SPG, sources said was registered on May 3rd, 1998 “to carry on the business of licensed bunkering of petroleum and other mineral oil in all its branches”. SPG’s registration number is 221250 while it has three other Directors apart from Stella Oduah, Erotomi Buwa and Elizabeth Stewart.
Sources at the Corporate Affairs Commission [CAC] further disclosed that Oduah owns 1,999,000,000 out of the two billion shares are being held by the three other directors.

Also, the former Head of State, Genera Abubakar [Rtd] who is the major shareholder in Maizube Petroleum Limited is indicted with the report.
Abubakar holds 600,000 shares in the company registered in 2003 with a one million share capital. Maizube has two other Directors namely Abubakar Isah and Abubakar Aminu.

It was gathered that the leadership of the House of Representatives is desperately pushing for the implementation of the committee report and has allegedly sent copies of the report to the presidency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC], Police and State Security Services [SSS]..
However, it was further gathered that the President is under pressure from his advisers to relieve the Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah of her appointment in order to protect the integrity of his administration.

Sources disclosed that Jonathan is worried by the involvement of the minister and influential Nigerians in the Oil subsidy scandals, which according to the sources had brought panic to the President’s mind on how to dismiss the Minister.
The sources added that the indicted Head of State is buzzing all contracts to forestall the implementation of the oil subsidy report; the powerful Nigerians have allegedly reached out to the Presidency pleading that the action be withheld on the committee’s report on the basis that the committee was vindictive and not thorough in its investigation.

Abubakar have also allegedly reached out to friends in the House of Representatives and those from his state and the six geopolitical zones to block the committee’s report at publicizing the report until they find away to obviate their purported indictment.

PHOTO:Twin Sisters Married to The Same Husband

It has been said that twins share almost everything but sharing a husband may seem unimaginable. But Zambia’s Livingstone-based twin sisters Gracious and Grace are happily married to a man they gave conditions to, they said “take all or none.”

The Tswana, Botswana twins are married to 25-year-old Kays Kaundula, who lives in Livingstone Island in Zambia.
Kaundula, his wives Grace and Gracious and his three daughters from the two twin sisters show off their family and lifestyles.

Kaundula runs his own motor vehicle mechanical workshop in Livingstone Island’s residential area and shares a house with his wives.
Kaundula however was later to discover that the sisters shared a cell phone and that in his conversations he proposed love to both sisters and both accepted.

A visit to plot 140, the residence of Kaundula, was met with a sweet greeting of small twin girls, who are Kaundula’s four-year-old daughters from Gracious.
Gracious and Grace seem happily married and Gracious even says when her daughters grow up and decide to get married, she would want them to get married to one man.

“I want them to be together just like us. This is what we set for ourselves as we grew up and we are happy that we have achieved what is good for us and our children,” she says.
Asked what they would do if Kaundula decided to get another wife since he was already in a polygamous status, the two sisters at the same time reply, “we will divorce him.”

Kaundula’s marriage is one which he says he first could not understand as he was first confused when he met the two sisters.
“I was picked by an amateur football team to play in Gaborone in Botswana and after one game as I walked out of the stadium I was greeted with a sweet voice from one of my wives, I can’t tell who. I was told that I had played a nice game.

“From there I continued talking to her or now realise that it was them on a cell phone as I later discovered that they were using one phone so I was talking to either of the two every time I called,” Kaundula says.

He says their relationship continued from phone conversations until he was later to meet them again as if by destiny’s design in Livingstone when they visited one of their sisters.
“After I left Botswana, I enrolled at Livingstone Institute of Business and Engineering studies and I happened to one day meet one the twins when they came to visit their sister who was staying near the institute and from there here we are,” he said.

Kaundula, who is chief executive officer of Kays Auto Services dealing in engine overhaul, servicing, electric repairing and motor vehicle repair consultancy, says he was told by the twins when he proposed that they wanted to get married to one man and if he was not ready, he would have neither of them.

“I proposed and they told me that they have been discussing my proposals which I had been advancing through the phone. Mind you it was one phone that they shared and at that time they were much slimmer than now and I could not tell them apart, so I accepted and got married in 2007.

“My dowry was paid to my mother in-law who has since passed on in Botswana,” Kaundula says.
He said he underwent a few difficulties with his own family when he told them of the marriage arrangement.
“Some opposed and others seemed to agree but also said I was overloading myself. One funny thing I realised later was that on the day I met the twin in Botswana, I was greeted twice by a person I thought had greeted me earlier.

“I did not know that they were twins. It also surprised me that I fell in love with both of them and when I proposed they also said I would get none unless I got them both. They say love is not shared but for me it’s shared equally,” he says.

He says that he can now tell his wives apart, unlike the early days when he first met them. Kaundula says they would both answer to any of their names when he called.

“When I call and say Grace I would get a ‘yes’ at the other end when actually I was talking to Gracious. I have three daughters; one with Grace and twins with Gracious. I have Chiluba and Chipo aged four and one month old. Chiluba who is named after my only surviving sister who is a teacher in Mansa and the other after my other sibling Chipo who is in Lusaka.

“My other daughter from Grace is Blessings. I also have another brother in Lusaka (named) Paul,” Kaundula said.
Asked how people in the community react to the marital arrangement, Gracious and Grace say they have been told that they did a right thing.

“Our friends say we did a good thing and they envy us. I work at Tukale Lodge and my sister is at home helping with the children. On your question of him bringing another wife our only resolve would be to divorce him, we are very happy with the way we are staying as a family and that is what we want for our children,” Gracious says.

The sisters say they are the last children in a family of five and that all their relatives who are in Botswana approve of their marriage.
Kaundula has continued with his football career with Blue Arrows Football Club who train at the Zambezi Sports Club under the sponsorship of the Zambia Air Force.

Fashola arrests colonel, sergeant on BRT lane

Fashola (right) being saluted by one of the soldiers
Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola on Tuesday reprimanded two military officers for driving on the dedicated Bus Rapid Transit lane.
The soldiers were accosted on the BRT lane at the Outer Marina on the Island.
Fashola expressed dismay that those who should show discipline and professionalism were the ones violating the BRT regulation.
Colonel K.I. Yusuf drove an Army Green Peugeot 406 with registration number BO1 – 150 NA, while Staff Sergeant A.J. Adeomi drove a black Toyota Camry.
Perhaps realising the problem that could come from being accosted by the governor, Yusuf reportedly alighted from his car and saluted Fashola repeatedly, saying, “I am sorry, very, very sorry.”
But the governor instead asked, “Why, as a senior military officer, did you choose to break the law instead of preserving it?”
