DonJazzy Launches MAVIN RECORDS, Signs Tiwa Savage As First Lady
The ace producer and former CEO of Mohits Records announced his new label on Twitter a few hours ago. It's no longer Mohits Records, its now Mavin Records (Mavin pronounced as May-vin). And he has signed the new label's first female artist; the unbelievably talented Ms Tiwa Savage. Aside from D'banj and his brother Kayswitch, all the other artists under the now defunct Mohits records are with Mavin Records.
Meanwhile a compilation album titled Solar Plexus, produced by Don Jazzy and featuring Wande Coal, Dr Sid, D'Prince and Tiwa Savage will be released tomorrow May 8th.
The record exec also tweeted that more artists will be signed to the label soon.

Eric Antunes Accused Of Having Sex With Girlfriend's Dog
A man who worked for an animal shelter has been arrested after allegedly taking photographs of himself having sex with his girlfriend's dog.
Eric Antunes, 29, was found at his home after police in Clearwater, Florida were given a tip he was in possession of child pornography.
He was at home when they arrived and 'admitted to downloading and viewing child pornography from his home computer', police said.
When cops came to a man's house on a tip that he had child pornography, according to authorities, they found something they weren't expecting.
The Tampa Bay Times reports that Eric Antunes of Clearwater, Fla. was arrested on ten counts of possession of child pornography and an animal cruelty charge after cops said they found pictures of the man having sex with his girlfriend's dog.
The photos of the alleged bestiality were found on Antunes' phone, according to police.
Clearwater Patch reports that police allegedly found nine images of child pornographyand one video. Police say Antunes admitted to downloading and viewing child porn.
The Miami New Times notes that Florida passed a bestiality ban in October, 2011. "If he's charged, Antunes could be one of the first few people prosecuted under the new law," writes the New Times.
The story is at least the second bestiality story to make headlines in as many days.
On Wednesday, the Patriot News reported that Pennsylvania State Police arrested a man after he allegedly broke into a barn and performed oral sex on a horse.

Woman Admits to Plotting With Pastor To Kill Husband!
A Missouri woman plotted with her Pastor to kill her husband.
Teresa Stone, 40, pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy to commit murder in the March 2010 shooting death of Randy Stone of Independence. Stone entered the plea with the understanding that her maximum sentence would be 10 years, officials said.
Teresa Stone remains free on bond while awaiting sentencing, which Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Marco Roldan scheduled for June 15.
Prosecutors accused Stone of conspiring with her minister, David Love, who is serving a life prison sentence after admitting he shot Randy Stone to death. Love pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and armed criminal action. Love once was the pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Independence and delivered part of Randy Stone’s eulogy. He moved to South Carolina not long after Stone’s death and was arrested there in November 2010 after a Jackson County grand jury indicted him on charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
During the proceeding Monday in Jackson County Court, Teresa Stone didn’t offer any explanations for the slaying but grew emotional when she admitted, while answering questions from her lawyer, that she helped plan her husband’s murder.
Randy Stone’s mother, Clara Koehler, said later that watching Stone admit her role was difficult. “It was hard, a whole lot harder than it was with David (Love), but that’s probably because Teresa was my daughter-in-law,” she said.
Teresa Stone remains free on bond while awaiting sentencing, which Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Marco Roldan scheduled for June 15.

Cat survives two-hour washing machine ordeal in South Africa
A CAT survived after it was tossed around inside a washing machine for almost two hours in Johannesburg, the South African newspaper The Star reported.
Karin Bennett, 63, heard meowing noises coming from close to her washing machine and began to search for her cat Tabitha.
She searched her neighbor's house - where the adventurous cat likes to visit - and her kitchen cabinets, oven and fridge but was unable to find the animal.
When her washing machine cycle finished, she went into the laundry and discovered Tabitha's furry face looking back at her through the machine's glass.
The cat was inside the washing machine for one hour and 45 minutes.
Tabitha was treated at a local vet for hypothermia and shock but was not seriously injured during the incident.
"It could happen to anybody. She must have been sleeping in there," Bennett said.
"The vet told me she [the cat] had lost seven of her nine lives."
